Clever answers every reader email within 2 business days. Editorial questions go to editorial@cleverecommerce.com; commercial enquiries go to partnerships@cleverecommerce.com. One thing we cannot do is resolve your dispute with a casino — but we will point you to the regulator that can.
How do you contact Clever?
Clever runs two mailboxes, and using the right one gets you a faster answer.
Editorial — editorial@cleverecommerce.com
For corrections, outdated bonus terms, questions about a review or our wagering math, and suggestions for offers to analyse.
Partnerships — partnerships@cleverecommerce.com
For operators, affiliate programs, and business proposals. Note before you write: commercial arrangements never influence scores or rankings, and our affiliate disclosure explains exactly why. Pitches offering payment for a rating are declined without reply.
What should you contact Clever about?
Clever most wants to hear from you when a number on our site is wrong. Bonus terms change without notice, and a reader flag is often the fastest correction trigger we have. Write to us about:
- A wagering requirement, game contribution figure, or expiry window that no longer matches the operator’s live terms.
- An error in our effective-value math — show your working and we will show ours.
- A bonus term you don’t understand and want translated into plain English.
- A predatory clause you spotted that we should warn other readers about.
- Feedback on our editorial process page.
How fast does Clever respond?
Clever replies to every legitimate email within 2 business days, and factual corrections jump the queue: when a reader flags a wrong number, we verify it against the operator’s current terms and correct the page within 3 business days of confirmation. Partnership enquiries receive a response within 5 business days. We do not use ticket bots or autoresponders beyond a receipt confirmation — a named analyst answers you.
Can Clever resolve a dispute with a casino?
No. Clever is an independent publisher with no authority over any operator, no access to your player account, and no role in payment processing. We cannot recover a confiscated bonus, unlock a withdrawal, or reverse an account closure. What we can do is direct you to the bodies that hold real power:
- The casino’s licensing regulator. UK players: the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). Many international sites are licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), which operates a player support process. The regulator’s name and licence number appear in the casino’s site footer.
- An approved ADR service. UKGC-licensed casinos must offer a free Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, named in their complaints policy. Exhaust the casino’s internal complaints process first, then escalate.
- Your payment provider, if funds were taken without authorisation.
If a dispute reveals a term the casino applied unfairly, tell us anyway — it feeds our T&C Fairness scoring and can change the operator’s rating.
Where do gambling-support questions go?
Clever is not a counselling service, and email is the wrong channel when gambling is causing harm. Go straight to the trained, free, confidential services listed on our responsible gambling page — including BeGambleAware and the National Council on Problem Gambling — which operate around the clock.
